Okay, it's more of a question, but it's a tech question.
My laptop messed up the other day and I'm wondering what might be wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix it.
story:
Usually it goes into standby when I close it, so I don't worry too much when I put it in the bag to go home from friend's house(I don't live far from there). So when I got home and went to get back online, the screen's gray. Turned it off by the button and turn it back on, then the screen's all screwy. I thought it might have just overheated so I turned it back off to let it cool. It gets to the point where it shows the XP loading screen before it acts up, but it goes gray shortly after.
BF says it may be the video card that's messed up from the overheating. What do you think?
